Additive Manufacturing (AM) is considered as the next industrial revolution, owing to its ability to produce parts with very complex shapes. This capability enables new design and application opportunities. While not all the issues are resolved, there are approved applications of AM in the most demanding environments. 

This online Summer School provides an overview of the key issues on the value chain AM including powder materials, design, manufacturing technologies, norms and applications. The speakers will be a combination of academic and industrial leaders.

Who should attend? The Summer Schools is well dedicated for M.Sc and Ph.D students, post-docs, young research engineers or project/program managers that want to gain a global view of the AM sector. It represents a unique opportunity to network with leaders and attendees to initiate cooperations.

There will be time for discussions and exchanges after the presentations, so participants are encouraged to engage with the other attendees and speakers.

Each participant will receive a certificate of completion for his/her participation.
